Creative Journaling



In this workshop you’ll learn how to express your feelings through creative journaling and experience the very special benefits and techniques of creative visualisation.  A creative journal is a collection of images and words, used to express yourself.  Creative visualisation is the technique of using your imagination to create what you want in your life.

The process of creating your journal will allow you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a relaxed, fun and interesting way. It’s easy for everyone to do and doesn’t require any artistic skills. In this workshop, you’ll begin your own creative journal, which will be yours to take home and continue to work with.

It can often be all too easy to lose sight of what you ‘really’ feel, think or want, but understanding this is key to gaining a deeper insight into you and your true feelings. Creative journaling allows you to explore your feelings, freely and expressively.  You will use different mediums for doing this, eg. colour, doodling, poetry, words, pictures, etc). By observing what you are drawn to and reflecting on it, you will notice patterns and gain more insights into how you really feel about things and what you want.  This understanding will support you in bringing about change and moving you forward.

This workshop is suitable for adults and children looking for a way to explore their feelings, find direction or make changes.  A relaxation session is also included, to leave you feeling positive, relaxed and inspired. It can be run as described or tailored to meet the specific needs of a group.
