Good health and wellbeing is something we all need to be able to flourish and fulfil our potential. It’s about feeling good and living well. The role of the mind and emotions in our state of health is a vital one. It’s a part of the picture that is often overlooked and an essential component to the healing process.

In recent years there’s been a growing recognition of the mind-body connection, in relation to illness. That’s not to deny the organic causes, such as germs, bacteria and inherited diseases. But more and more, medicine now includes a focus on a range of factors like lifestyle, diet, social circumstances, the environment and most interestingly consciousness and the emotions.

Good health and wellbeing is about far more than just diet and the physical body – it’s about having a positive approach to life and a sense of self, connecting with our inner resources, living mindfully, keeping active and eating well. NLP allows you to explore and understand your mindset and feelings and how they all interact. Learning more about yourself (your mind body connection, what you communicate to yourself and how your thoughts and emotions affect you physically) will help you understand what may be going on for you. This assists positive change and enhances health and wellbeing. Often, when a specific problem is addressed, other seemingly unrelated things will also improve or disappear completely.

Working with a NLP coach can help you to make positive changes, improve your outlook and feel more empowered. Relaxation, mindfulness and meditation are of great benefit too and some of these practices may be included in a session.
